INDUS BMT GROUP hosts a BMT-focused webinar on COVID-19

The INDUS BMT GROUP hosted a webinar and town hall on April 18th 2020 to discuss the impact of COVID-19 (caused by the virus SARS-CoV-2). First, Dr. Sanjeet Dadwal Chief, Division of Infectious Diseases at City of Hope, California, USA presented the clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment options in BMT setting. This was followed by a presentation by Dr. Navneet Majhail, Director, BMT Program, Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA and Immediate Past-President, American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy. Dr. Majhail’s topic for presentation was Guidelines for Management of COVID-19 in BMT Candidates, Recipients and Donors. This was followed by a robust QA session between the audience and an expert panel, moderated by Dr. Vikram Mathews, Professor, Dept. of Haematology, Christian Medical College, Vellore, India.
